Seven days, no questions asked. If the book is not for you, email us within seven days of buying it and you get your money back. Usually the same day. You keep the book.
Send an email to hello@moveabroadmanual.com from the address you bought with, and say you would like a refund. That is the whole process.
You do not have to explain yourself, justify it, answer a survey, or sit through an offer to change your mind. If you want to tell us what was missing we are glad to hear it, because it makes the next edition better — but it is not a condition of anything.
We process refunds through Gumroad, normally the same day we hear from you and always within three working days. Once processed, the money takes a further three to ten working days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer. That part is out of our hands.
We do not revoke your download or ask you to delete anything. If the book was not worth what you paid, taking it back off you does not make that right.
The guarantee runs for seven days from the date of purchase. After that, refunds are at our discretion — but we are not unreasonable, and if something has genuinely gone wrong, write to us anyway.
Free updates are included with every purchase and do not affect this policy. Receiving a new edition does not restart the seven days, and it does not take away a refund you were already entitled to.
The book is a set of numbers and judgements about a decision that matters. If you read it and decide the whole idea is not for you, that is the book doing its job — and you should not be out of pocket for finding that out. The author says as much in the first chapter: if you finish it and decide to stay where you are, it worked.
This policy is what we offer in addition to any rights you have under the consumer law where you live. Nothing here takes those rights away. Gumroad is the seller of record for your purchase and its own terms apply alongside this policy.
